Agree with K8, but if you're sure that it is a yeast infection there are several things you can take for it. Over the counter, monistat and other creams are really good. If you're looking for a more discrete natural remedy...acidophilus is a good place to start. Get a good brand, (Sundown) compare the labels. You want billions of live cultures. Yogurt also has this in it, but a more concentrated amount sounds desirable.

Another thing you can try is a boric acid vaginal suppository. You can buy gel caps at the pharmacy and make your own pills. Insert one in the evening, it works great, but it's messy. They are an anit-fungal.

Good luck, I've been down that road. Get some exercise and try, try, try to stay away from sugar. Yeast loves sugar and flourishes when exposed to it.
References :
This is much more consistent with bipolar disorder and OCD than with candida. Fortunately, there is a good deal that can be done for both of these--your life can dramatically improve. You need a good psychiatrist who can figure out the right meds for you and also talk through some things to help you both understand better.
References :
Pharmacist; many relatives with these conditions.

what do you mean blood test came back too low? your T4 was too low or TSH? as you may know if you have too much thyroid hormone you will feel "overactive/hyper" and the opposite is true for low thyroid hormone levels. You will feel sluggish and sleepy. it is highly possible your side effects are due to your dose adjustment. i would mention this to my doctor and get adjusted. good luck!

ADDITION:
btw your synthroid should not have been cut in half overnight. i dont know what your doctor is doing but any hormonal medication should be tapered up or tapered down. you cannot suddenly cut a hormone medication in half instantly. thats ridiculous that's probably why your body is responding "funny". speak to your doctor about that.
References :
pharmacist

Fatigue can be associated with both hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. You should have your levels checked again if you're not feeling well.

- I'm a little confused by your question: You mentioned that your blood test came back too low, but then say that your thyroid levels were too high.
References :
There are a host of things that could explain many, though maybe not all of these symptons including TIAs(vascular), infections and imflammatory conditions, exposure to noxiuos agents, collagen-vascular diseases, MS, side effects from medication, and (rarely)tumors. If anyone in your family has had similar symptons that would be a clue. Your age , occupation and general health make a difference, too. A Neurologist would be the best person to see. An MRI scan has the best chance of any imaging test to see if there any anatomic changes.
Good luck.
References :
A large gland in the neck that functions in the endocrine system. The thyroid secretes hormones that regulate growth and metabolism
Indian medicine is the best

Hi Chissy,

I had some of the same symptoms about a year and half ago. It took the doctors a few months to find the problem & sure enough it was my Thyroid. Tell her to ask the doctor to take the test for T4 & T5 levels this should determine if its her thyroid. The other systems could be just from her infection.
Don't scare yourself that it might be cancer.

Hope she feels better.
