I never feel good for a whole day. My mind is f”ed up in one way or another at all times. Sometimes it feels cloudy. Sometimes it’s bouncing off the walls. Sometimes I have headaches. I run into people and have to talk to them and I can’t snap out of it to act normal for half a second. I run every morning for 30min.. Do you have a clear mind at all times?

yes oh yes, as much as i or you wouldn’t like it but yes we are not aware of how much difference food makes

cut out meat (or use moderately and better chicken or fish not bacon and such stuff), dairy (or use it moderately), sugar, salt, less fats and no regular flour, and ofcourse all stuff that is made of these and not even talking about chemicals, junk food, synthetic stuff etc

drink alot but not too much, green tea is awasome with different kind of probs, eat fruits, veggies, naturally made oils, nuts, honey, and well all natural stuff, it may be hard at first but step by step if you change your diet, you’ll love it (experiment with it and species to make it tastier (for salt addicts)) you actually CAN have or make awasome food out of healthy stuff, really! and i promise you wont have brain fog ever again and will have aloot more energy during the day, but dont forget to breath fresh air from time to time and get a good sleep, and if you do that even exercising is not that important anymore, but that doesnt mean you can sit on your butt till it gets cramps ofcourse :D

for quick solution green tea alone together with or without honey & lemon can make difference too, drink big cup of it and after it wait at least 30 mins before eating or consuming anything else, it deffinatelly will clear some of that fog for you

Weird Headache?

Im after some advice. For the past 3 weeks i’ve had a constant headache from morning until night that gradually gets worse during the day. Its not a painful headache just an anoyance, like a dull headache. Best way to descibe it is to list the symptoms which are Brain Fog, nausea, gets worse when I stand up, cannot balance well when standing and a general feeling of being in a dream! My concentration levels have dropped aswell to the point where i’ll just drift off into a daydream constantly. Last week I spent a few days in hospital, with the worst Migraine I have ever experienced and am wondering if this is linked? I’ve been going to the doctors, who are stumped and am awaiting a Neurologist appointment. When i take Codeine Phosphate it seems to make it go away, but I dont want to take them all the time, I juts want it gone! I know it sounds strange, but what is it. Please help,

Thanks

I obviously can’t know what is causing these headaches from an internet post, but I can tell you my experience with headaches, and you can make of it what you want.

In January 2004 when I was 18 I got a migraine one day, and it did not go away for almost a month. After that, I continued to have migraines almost every day. After about a year, I finally went to a doctor who diagnosed me with chronic migraine but did not have the knowledge to successfully treat me. She referred me to a neurologist with a clinical interest in headaches who also tried to help me but also did not have the appropriate knowledge. The neurologist finally referred me to a neurologist in the area who operated a headache clinic. After months of trying different medicines, we finally found one that helped decreases the frequency of the heaches in July 2006. I moved to a new city and started going to a new headache specialist last year and am still searching for a medicine that can further improve my headaches.

The thing that struck me as odd is that through this whole process, not one of the doctors expressed interest in the fact that the migraines started so suddenly. Maybe this is not unusual. It does seem strange to me though.

I’m not trying to alarm you or anything. You could have a totally different problem than what I have. I guess what I’m trying to say is keep trying until you find something that helps, and know that you are not alone in your daily struggle with headaches.

i’m pretty sure i have G.A.D but i still worry sometimes it could be something more also….can any anxiety sufferers tell me in detail your symptoms….hearing them might make me feel less crazy! some of mine include: hot flashes, headaches, lightheadedness, depersonalization, foggy vision at times and brain fog, sadness, anger, heart racing, weird/disturbing thoughts, like i’m going crazy or i’m losing my mind, and overwhelming worry! plz help…serious answers only plz
and sleep problems, and like my brain is exhausted!!!

Actually what you just described in your question was pretty close (not everyone has them all, and some have additional ones) to what a lot of people with Generalized Anxiety suffer. You aren’t going crazy, you just really need to be 100% sure what it is…not knowing would make anyone feel a little overwhelmed. I suggest seeing a counselor, or a psychologist, and finding out for sure….knowing alone helps some. Plus they can help you come up with things to cope with it.

Is It Really A Brain Tumor?

about a year ago, i was referred to the hospital from my opticians to do with some fogging behind my eye and a continuous mass of headaches and migraines.
after having a few scans, i received my results from the doctor, saying there is a high chance i could have a brain tumor.
so after sending me into a whirlpool of panic and upset, i decided to look further into it.
which yet again, resulted me in having more scans done.

since then, ive had another scan and the results from that came back clear.

so, why did my other bunch of scans come back with finding something, and this one didnt?

my headaches still havent gone.
ive suffered with them since i was 13
and sometimes i can get them 2 or three times a day, which is absolute madness for me.

so, were the doctors wrong about the results? or am i really a ticking time bomb?

There are many different approaches to obtain images of the brain, and each method has certain advantages and disadvantages for detecting any particular type of tissue growth. There’s MRIs, x-rays, SPECTs, CTs, PETs, and different contrast settings and things that can be injected to make adjustments to these techniques. Each technique can produce different results, so what might appear as a tumor in one image might not show up at all in another type of image. Both false positives and false negatives are possible.

All of the conflicting results must be very confusing, so its important to ask questions about what exactly your test results indicates. There may be some uncertainty as to whether you have a tumor or not, or whether you have some other type of brain abnormality - if so, the docs should explain the possibilities.

Maybe it would be worthwhile to set up an appointment with another neurologist. When setting up the appointment, explain that you are seeking a second opinion, and that you would like the doc to review all of your previous tests and discuss with you what they indicate. After setting up the appointment, make arrangements to have all of your images and records sent to the doc, or ask to pick up all the materials yourself and take them to the new doc prior to your visit.
