Cure for Brain Fog?

I don't think I could begin to get my story into 1000 characters but I'll try.

I've been experiencing headaches, migraines, memory loss and this feeling that I could never explain. Now I know that it's brain fog.

I've been diagnosed with depression, PTSD, anxiety etc etc. But lately I've looked into Fibromyalgia and have all the symptoms but I'm just waiting to see a rheumatologist.

All these things (memory loss, brain fog etc) are symptoms of Fibro.

But is there a cure for brain fog? I'm starting University next month and this has disadvantaged me all the way through high school.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I'm a slight perfectionist. I'm organized.

There are a few things you can try, but like a lot of my advice it involves trial and error.

There is a whole field of study called nootropics, where people experiment with what you can take into your body to make your brain work better physically. I've dabbled in it, not systematically like you are supposed to, but haphazardly. I've known people who swore by choline diet supplements, omega 3 fish oil capsules, ginseng, etcetera. As your budget and availability permits, you might want to consider going through this list at wikipedia and trying a few at a time and see if you feel clearer.

Lecithin is cheap, contains lots of choline and is good for you for other reasons, and makes a great addition to a blender smoothie 2 times a day.

There are also studies I've seen that classical music in the background help the brain focus, something to do with composers like Mozart and Brahms using rhythms similar to the brain's natural waves. I don't know if it works for sure, but for me music without lyrics makes a great way to drown out background noise while studying without the lyrics to distract me. Rob Zombie is great, but he clashes with my scripture studies…

I hope these help a bit?

I often feel like I am outside of myself looking in. at times, I fog out at work or home and can't concentrate. My neurologist originally thought a siezure disorder or possibly complicated migraines. As of late, my eyes are more sensitive to light and I often have a dull headache. My biggest concern is the time loss episodes where I have no memory. I lost 3 exits on the Hwy driving last week. It scared the crap out of me. I have been on Topamax for over a year, and it kept it under control, but now I have more bad days than good. My doctor is weaning me onto Lamictal, and will slowly wean me off Topamax. I am simply scared and feel like I have lost control of my life. Please help me.

Seizures are not always Epilepsy and can be caused by many other health problems. And yes Migraine and Epilepsy are interrelated in various ways.Neurological clinics have noted that Epilepsy and Migraine can masquerade as each other, and in patients with Epilepsy or Migraine whose condition seems unclear, consideration of the other disorder may be warranted. Both Migraine and Epilepsy react to environmental triggers. These Triggers can be a big factor in avoiding either of these episodes. Keep a Diary so that your Neuro has some related points. Check your Triggers. Ask for another opinion , or a 3rd opinion. Do your research on seizures, there are many good and trusted sites on the internet. Ask questions, ask questions, ask questions.

Don't settle for that small penis anymore! My girlfriend and I figured we could make a video with a little humour, but I have used the techniques from the site above to make my penis bigger and since I've started, I've given my gf an extra 2 inches to enjoy!

I've tried many products with little to no success, but my gf is thrilled with the results of this penis enlargement product giving me a boost from 4 to 6 inches.

Try it out, and let us know if it works as well for you as it did for me!

I am awaiting a call from my dr- but in the meantime was wondering…… I am only on 5mgs 2xs a day - its been a week now. The only thing that has helped has been gulping large amounds of like iced tea or gatorade - and even then, I feel dizzy too……insight? Will these side effects go away? I can deal with the dizziness, brain fog, slight headache, but the nausea - is BAaaaaaaaD. Anyone have a similar experience while starting this med? I am on this for anxiety. I really don't want to go on SSRI's because I am not depressed and not really cool living on Benzos - thanks.

The first week I took buspirone, I felt like I was getting the flu (light-headed, nauseous), but I stuck it out and those side-effects went away after only a week. Give it a bit more time if you can. Otherwise, let your doctor know that it is troublesome to you.

Chronic fatigue or Fibromyalgia?

After a few years of inexplicable exhaustion, my doctor diagnosed me with chronic fatigue. They tried a few drugs, but nothing has worked and I still feel awful. The more research I do, the more I think I actually have Fibromyalgia. Here are my symptoms, I'd love to know what you guys think: can't fall asleep or stay asleep (sleep an average of 3 hrs per night), constant body aches, headaches, brain fog, inability to focus and concentrate and remember things (i am only 27), pure exhaustion all the time and sensitivity to loud noises and bright lights. Please let me know if any of you have experienced this, thanks!
Obviously I need a way to sleep, if only it were that easy. I have had sleep issues for a long time and I have tried everything on earth, none of it works. Sleep disorders are a big symptom of Fibro….that is why I mentioned it.

I am diagnosed with CFS/ME (after some very decent testings) and every symptom you mention is recognizable to me. These are symptoms for both CFS and Fibromyalgia. Both diseases have a lot in common and only a few differences. I think the mayor difference is the amount of pain you have, and it's actually pretty much the same otherwise. Like a sub-group. I might be wrong there though. Anyway, I was diagnosed as CFS and not with FM.

Your problems with sleeping are a common thing in CFS and FM. And it is not making your health any better, it's making it worse because you really need all the rest!
What helped for me is melatonin. It's not a sleeping pill, it's what your own body normally makes to give the signal that it;s time for sleeping. In my country you can buy it at the drugstore, and doctors prescribe the stronger version. You can also buy it online, and in your country it is probably also available in shops. For me that really works well, I sleep so much better.
It doesn't cure CFS or Fibromyalgia, but it might help you to feel better.
Right now your body is only getting more exhausted. Which is definitely not a good thing!
